Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven”. The sons of Issachar. They understood the times and seasons. Because of the hour we are living in. 1 Chronicles 12:32
Time:
What is time? The length of days given to men to live on this earth. Time has A past, present, and future. Nothing supernatural happens in time because time is of fallen thing. You go to work you come home from work you go to school when you come home from school etc.
Season:
A season is the time marked by a supernatural event. There are 2 types of seasons: natural seasons and spiritual seasons. Just as the natural seasons change so do the spiritual seasons.
- A natural seasons represent the four divisions of the year, winter, spring, summer, and fall. For instance, Genesis. 8:22, God declares, “while the earth remain, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” This scripture here is talking about natural seasons.
- A spiritual seasons are ordained times of God. For instance, Daniel 2:21 states, “And He changes the times and the seasons…” When God appoints a Spiritual Season it is a very powerful force & different from a natural season change. During this time we are empowered to succeed in things that we otherwise would struggle, and even fail at.
David was in time tending the sheep for about 17 years until he went to bring his brothers provision and met a giant. They both stepped out of time and into their purpose. When they discovered their purpose they entered their season. You will never enter into your season if you do not know your purpose.
Purpose:
Purpose is the original reason or intent why God made a person or a thing. You can’t wait to get to heaven and work your purpose. If you are here you have a purpose. God would never create you if he did not have a purpose in mind for you. Without purpose life has no meaning it is better not to read into live without a purpose.
Your purpose for the Kingdom of God will determine your territory. That’s why we must be in the right place or position in the KOG in order to war effectively. There are so many people that are in the wrong place and positions in the KOG.
New season for the church
Times are changing, religions are changing, political views are changing and we are now living in a world steep in confusion. But, our God has not changed! He is the same God yesterday, today and forever. He said “I am God, I changed not”. Malachi 3:6
Haggai 2:7-9 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
