Evangelist Miriam Sumner
The co-founder of Crown of Glory Ministries, Inc., a women’s healing and deliverance ministry which is now celebrating 29 years of ministry service. The ministry’s foundational scripture is found in Genesis 2:23“…she shall be called Woman”.
Evangelist Sumner is a woman called and anointed by God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sounding her voice as a trumpet. She is a published author of three poetry books, Free Indeed, For Your Glory and For Your Glory 2. She is a psalmist and operates in a strong gift of prophetic songs of deliverance.
She is a graduate of Mid-Hudson Bible Institute and holds a bachelor’s degree in theology. She serves at Wilborn Temple First COGIC, Albany, NY as the Pastor’s Administrative Assistant and Outreach Coordinator. She is under the spiritual covering of Pastor Solomon Dees.
She is the proud wife of Minister Frederick Sumner and serves with him in his Rearguard Ministry, reaching out to hurting men and letting them know that they have purpose and destiny in Jesus Christ. She is the mother of three and grandmother of 20 and resides in Albany, NY.
She often says, “If God can save me, I believe He can do anything!” Her life is defined in Isaiah 61 because God has given her beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that I may be called the tree of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified”.
