Bruised Heels Ministry

Bruised Heels is a ministry of Crown of Glory which comes from the scripture in Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”  Through this ministry we have presented shoes to women whom the enemy has tried to destroy. The shoes represent victory in Jesus!  We have given hundreds of shoes to orphaned and disadvantaged children in Dominican Republic through Sierra de Cristo Ministry and also in the United States.

Speak Truth, Regardless!

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry” (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

What is not healed!
“You parents, if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake?”

A bitter mother will pass down bitterness, just like an angry father will pass down anger to the children.  The question is, “what is in your heart that needs healing”?  If it does not get healed, you will be passing stones and serpents that will start out small but end up tragically hurting those that you love.  Ask yourself, “what am I passing down”?  What’s in my heart that needs to be healed?  Remember:  Jesus knew what was in the hearts of the Pharisees when they came to sit under him, but the presence of God was there to heal them.   (Luke 5:17)

Make Room for God!
In 2 Kings 4 we find the story of the Shunammite woman.  She was a woman of great means, but what she wanted most was to be in the presence of God.  When she saw the man of God, Elisha, continually passing by her house she recognized the anointing.  This is what she desired more than anything else.  She had an overwhelming desire for the presence of God to dwell in her house.  So what did she do?  She began to make room in her life for the anointing to rest.
She asked her husband if they could make an upper room (Aliyya).  An Aliyya means to ascend or to come to a high place.  God never intended for us to stay low, but to come to a higher place in Him.  She said, “I got to make room in my house, in my life, in my family for God”.  When she made room for God it released her breakthrough!  Notice, although she desired a son she never asked for one, but only wanted God.  But God released a breaker anointing that broke through on her behalf.
If you want to see breakthrough making room for God must be your first priority.  Whatever it takes!  If we have to cut, hammer, chisel or get a bulldozer, we decree and declare that we will make room for this breaker anointing to rest in our life, family and ministry.

WARRING FOR YOUR PROPHETIC DESTINY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, by the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage a good warfare.”(1 Timothy 1:18)

Here’s the question: Once you have received a prophecy, what do you do? Many of us have a notebook full of prophetic words but how do we get it from our notebook to our lives? Listed below are 5 steps on how to war & step into your prophetic destiny.

 1. Prayer & Supplication: Prayer & supplication are the birthing ground for your destiny. It sets the vision and orders your steps along the right course. “Then I set my face toward prayer and supplications…”(Daniel 9:3a)
2. Fasting: Fasting is not a hunger strike that forces God to move; rather it is a decision to promote spiritual advancement through the denial of your flesh. You will find during times of fasting that your spiritual perception will sharpen and the word and will of God in your life will become clear. “…with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.” (Daniel 9:3b)
 3. Confession: Whatever you confess you can possess! Do not mistake this for a get rich quick scheme.  True confession is a lifestyle of ultimate trust and surrender to God and the power of His word. You must remind yourself of the word of the Lord in your life until it is a reality. “Let us hold fast the confession of our faith without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23)
 4. Remind God of His covenant: Remember that God is a “God of covenant” and He will perform His word concerning you. In your prayer time remind Him of His word, not because He is forgetful but because He asked you to. You will find that it will magnify the word of God in your life and cause faith to arise in your spirit. “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)
 5.  Keep His commandments.  prophetic words are conditional.  The condition is your obedience to living your life towards God and pressing towards His will in your life; if you do not obey what God says; expect nothing.  “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken” (Isaiah 1:19-20)
